Silence & Solitude: Jesus and the Lonely Place
Various
Is there a practice from the life of Jesus that could set us up to thrive in the chaos of the overbusy, digitally distracted, noisy, urban world? Yes. It’s the practice of silence and solitude. Put simply, it’s intentional time in the quiet to be alone with ourselves and God.
Follow along with each week of the Silence & Solitude practices. We recommend you work through it with a community like a small group, a weekly meal with friends or neighbors, your roommates, whatever works. Get a group of people, set a time each week to share a meal, then talk and pray for about an hour. Transformation happens in community.
