Overview
Jesus is and always has been the vision of Bridgetown Church. But vision alone won’t get us there. As apprentices to him, we orient our lives around that vision by corporately choosing an intentional way of life. To experience the life of Jesus, we have to take on the lifestyle of Jesus by receiving his promise of an easy yoke. Which means we have to see the world the way he did and live according to his values and rhythms. As a church, we embrace and celebrate the fact that our future is rooted in and connected to the past: the way forward is the way back. So rather than inventing something new we have chosen to press into something that followers of Jesus all around the world have used for centuries. Together, we’ve committed to living a time-tested Rule of Life as modeled in the Order of the Mustard Seed (or OMS).
As Bridgetown Leadership, we want to support and encourage you as we continue to press into practicing the way of Jesus through this shared Bridgetown Leaders Rule of Life. Below, you will find resources to help you on this journey.
